I wanted to make the most of having a gym in the hotel in Dubai, because that’s a luxury that we certainly aren’t going to get in any Thai hostels or Sri Lankan guest houses!
It was a decent gym, with plenty of fixed resistance machines and your usual array of cardio.
The first morning we got up early to fit in a leg session. Which I completely forgot to film but I’ve written it all down.
It felt really good to burn some energy and use my muscles after sitting on a plane for so long. Plus it set me up nicely for a day of lying by the pool.
